You will be connected to a trained technical representative who will clarify the problem, identify the most relevant options for you to try and resolve the problem as fast and effectively as possible. If our suggestions don’t resolve the issue, then we can arrange for a field service engineer to attend site, investigate and rectify the problem.
We know your time is precious and delays in production can be costly. lf you ‘just need an Engineer’, let us know straight away and we will prioritise that visit for you.
We aim to be on site by the next working day wherever possible, and many times achieve same day assistance.

With our unparalleled experience in metal detector repair and support, we are also able to maintain a wide range of other manufacturer’s equipment. This allows our customers to have confidence in MDS and the support we provide.
This helpline (*) gives our customers immediate access to one of our technical support team. We are able to provide technical assistance, on the line, direct to your maintenance or production staff. We always try to resolve any issue over the phone before arrangements are made for one of our engineers to attend site.

We offer a system upgrade service, to make these units compliant to current codes of practice. If it is not possible to upgrade your machine, we can of course provide a quote for new equipment to ensure your metal detectors perform to the standard you require.
These training programmes are both classroom and online based, supported with full training manuals and reference documentation. Training sessions are carried out at our customers’ sites, thereby minimising the disruption to your operation.
