September 2022 saw Field Service Engineer, Nathan Cannon, join the MDS team.
Having worked for Ishida, an industry-leading provider of multihead weighers, quality control and packaging equipment, Nathan has invaluable experience in the industry. In his new position as Field Service Engineer he will be working in roles that include commissioning, calibration, repairs, training and validation. His background as an Assembly Technician (for over 7 years) has given Nathan an insight into the industry and has allowed him to gain a broad spectrum of relevant knowledge.
Mike Tinsley, Service Operations Director, said, “We are really pleased to have Nathan on board. He has already strengthened our knowledge pool with his extensive packaging equipment background and we know he will be a fantastic asset to MDS.”
Since joining us at the beginning of September, Nathan has been spending his time shadowing some of our more experienced engineers and undertaking our in-house training programmes.
Speaking of his time with MDS so far, Nathan said, “I felt welcome from my very first day at the company. I am really looking forward to getting properly stuck in.”
The entire MDS team recently went to the CEIA site in Italy for our regular catch up training, Nathan will undertake this training in the new year.
Nathan is currently based in the Midlands but works all across the UK.
