Over the past week MDS have been raising money for Jeans for Genes Day 2017, a national fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK. This is the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by a genetic disorder. All money that is raised for this charity is used to fund the work of the charity and provide grants to organisations for projects that aim to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.
MDS raised money through the traditional donation to wear Jeans to work on Friday 21st September, as well as implementing a swear box around the office for the week after. With a small donation for each “naughty word”.
We have had a fantastic response from the team, and are proud to be supporting such a worthwhile cause.
