MDS has recently welcomed two new starters to the business, strengthening both our engineering and sales teams as we continue to support customers across the UK.
Shaun Mapuranga – Service Engineer
Shaun Mapuranga has joined MDS as a Service Engineer. An experienced electronics engineer, Shaun is currently undertaking in-house training and accompanying our existing service engineers on customer visits to gain hands-on experience with CEIA metal detection equipment.
As part of his development, Shaun will also attend manufacturer training with CEIA in Italy on the next available course, further enhancing his knowledge of radio frequency metal detection technology and the support we provide to customers.
Joe Higgins – Sales Apprentice
Joe Higgins has joined MDS as a Sales Apprentice. Joe studied Electronic Engineering to diploma level at college and will begin a Business and Sales degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in September.
Since joining the business, Joe has been learning about the wide range of CEIA metal detection systems and inspection solutions available to customers across the food, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. His role will involve supporting the sales team while developing his technical and commercial knowledge of the industry.
